- 1: The club's mascot is one of the longest serving mascots in football and named after The Wanderers legend Nat Lofthouse.
- 2: The club was founded as Christ Church F.C. in 1874. In 1877 they renamed to Bolton Wanderers due to difficulties which the club had faced with the permanent ground to play on.
